When Jim Kirk goes missing in Yosemite National Park, Nyota Uhura goes to the park to investigate his disappearance. Along the way, she meets with old friends, and makes a new one in Christine, a strange yellow eyed woman who lives in the woods, and is perhaps more than she seems.

Notes: I first started writing this for Camp NaNoWriMo in April of 2023. I finished the draft for the Uhura Bang 2024, which was cancelled. Then I edited it and finally released it in response to an Uhura Month 2025 prompt, "Supernatural AU." Glad to finally be able to release this one, it's been a long time coming!
